What chanio is

chanio is beta software that captures your AI conversations into a private, local knowledge graph and compiles briefs from it. It is provided as-is, without warranty. It will have bugs. Local-first design means your data is safe from us — but you are responsible for backing up your own disk.

Your data stays yours

You own your vault, your channels, and everything chanio compiles for you. Nothing in these terms grants us a license to your captured context — we can't see it. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

Pricing

chanio is free right now, for the first 100 users. There is nothing to buy and no subscription — we're building this with the people actually using it before we ever charge anyone. If that changes, it will be a new announcement on this site, not a quiet switch, and this page will be updated first.

Sensible limits

chanio organizes context; it does not give medical, legal, or financial advice, and briefs can be wrong or incomplete. Don't use it to violate the terms of the AI providers it sits alongside, and don't use it to capture other people's conversations without their knowledge. We may update the product and these terms as the beta evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page.
